In 1888, the most precious message of righteousness by faith was presented to the delegates to the Seventh-day Adventist General Conference Session in Minneapolis, MN. When attending these meetings and listening to Ellet J. Waggoner speak of the message of Righteousness by faith in the Minneapolis meetings, Mrs. White stated later on, that her experience at the meetings: "every fiber of my heart said, Amen."

Unfortunately, the sermons then given were not recorded, and thus we have no record of what was spoken there. However, about six months later a Camp Meeting was held in Topeka, Kansas and the same topic was presented to the people along with the subject of religious liberty. The passionate sermons given there by Ellen G. White, Alonzo T. Jones, William W. Prescott and others have given clearer insights to the 1888 message.
