The next age we will examine is during the time of John the Baptist, Jesus, and His disciples or apostles. The Jewish church and its whole system of religion had become so corrupted and apostate that God could no longer use it in any way to give His truths to others. He could not use it at all in His cause and work, because they were no longer His representatives and agents for the salvation of the world, but were actually representatives and agents of Satan for the destruction of the world!
