What is the will? Sister White writes: Steps to Christ (SC), p 47: "This (the will) is the governing power in the nature of man, the power of decision, or of choice.  Everything depends on the right action of the will."
 
So the will is our power of choice, it is our power of decision, and it is the governing power, or force, in our natures.
